Roll-off dumpster rental in Bellevue
Approx. 16 road miles northeast of the yard, around 24 minutes.
Bellevue is approx. 16 road miles northeast of the yard, around 24 minutes. Same-day or next-day when availability allows; call early in the day for the best chance of same-day. Bellevue is a village of 1,308 at the 2020 Census, in Eaton County.
We found no hauler licence or trash franchise in Bellevue's code, which has no solid waste chapter. Its rule on where refuse containers sit is the one to know: containers in open view of a road must stay covered and not overflow, and may not be kept within five feet of a road, street or right-of-way except when being emptied (§ 109-9). The code doesn't name roll-offs, so we set the container on your driveway at least 5 feet back from the road, and it's best kept covered between loads.

Local knowledge
Getting our bearings in Bellevue
Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.
- No hauler licence found — Bellevue's code has no solid waste chapter, and its franchises are for electric, cable and gas.
- Covered and set back — refuse containers in open view of a road stay covered and don't overflow, and aren't kept within five feet of a road or right-of-way except for emptying (§ 109-9).
- Nothing in the streets — ashes, paper, garbage, trash or rubbish of any kind may not be thrown or placed in village streets (§ 109-8).
- Sidewalks and curbs — no one may obstruct or encroach on a public sidewalk, curb or gutter (§§ 129-3C, 129-4B).
- Three-hour truck limit — trucks with two or more axles over 10,000 lb may not park on a street for more than three hours (§§ 136-1, 136-6).
- No all-night parking — no vehicle on a street, alley or highway between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. (§ 136-3).
What comes out of Bellevue properties
Bellevue's Village compost site takes only leaves, grass clippings and brush, from Village residents or people the Village authorizes, and nothing from outside the village (Ch. 37) — limbs no longer than 12 feet and 6 inches across, and no stumps. A remodel, a roof or a property clean-out is container work. Small clean-outs, garage projects and general household debris fit a 10 (about 3 pickup loads); medium renovations and yard work a 15 (4 to 5 loads); roofing, remodeling and larger home projects a 20 (about 6); large clean-outs and commercial jobs a 30 (about 9); and demolition, construction and large-scale projects a 40 (about 12). Concrete and dirt usually go in a 10 or a 15 only — heavy materials have weight limits for safe transport, and tile, plaster, shingles and wet yard waste get heavy quickly. Michigan's solid waste law counts “demolished building materials” as rubbish (MCL 324.11505(9)), and household waste doesn't include construction and demolition waste (MCL 324.11504(3)) — remodel debris is container work, not cart work. The standard rental is 3 to 7 days. Need longer? Call and we can often extend it, and we'll explain any added daily or weekly fee up front. Finish early? Call and we'll arrange an early pickup.
What goes in: wood, drywall, tile and flooring, furniture and household junk, yard waste, branches and brush, roofing shingles and small non-hazardous appliances, with concrete and dirt usually in a 10- or 15-yard container. What doesn't go in: paint, solvents and oils, fuel, tires, batteries, asbestos, hazardous chemicals, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, and fridges, AC units and other appliances with refrigerants — that's our own list. Michigan's landfill ban list backs much of it up: used oil, lead-acid batteries, bulk liquid waste and asbestos waste (unless the landfill meets the federal asbestos rule) may not go to a landfill, and neither may more than a de minimis amount of whole tires, used beverage containers or yard waste (MCL 324.11514). So load yard waste on its own: a yard-waste container takes no household trash mixed in. If you're unsure about something, call before it goes in. Our what can and can't go in a dumpster in Michigan guide covers the rest.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Bellevue
Who may haul: we found no hauler licence, trash franchise or solid waste chapter in Bellevue's code; the franchises in its appendix are for electric, cable and gas. Official sources disagree on who collects household trash in the village, so we don't say. We're licensed & insured.
Refuse containers: Bellevue's code bars keeping refuse containers in open view of a public road unless they stay covered and don't overflow, and bars keeping them within five feet of a road, street or right-of-way except when needed for emptying by a governmental or commercial collector — and then for no more than 24 hours before and after pickup (§ 109-9, Ord. No. 98). It doesn't name roll-offs, but on its plain words an uncovered container in view of the road, or one within five feet of it, could draw a citation. So the container goes on your driveway at least 5 feet back from the road, and it's best kept covered between loads. The code text comes from the Village's online code host in short excerpts, so it's summarized here.
In the street: no trash or rubbish of any kind goes in village streets (§ 109-8), and no one may obstruct a sidewalk, curb or gutter (§§ 129-3C, 129-4B). The Village's permits cover building sidewalks, curbs and driveway approaches; we found no dumpster or right-of-way permit. You don't need to be home as long as we know where the container goes and the spot is clear of vehicles and obstacles — mark it with cones or tape if you won't be there. Leave about 60 feet of clear approach for the truck and about 25 feet of overhead clearance, free of wires and branches, on flat, solid ground such as a driveway or pavement. Ask about boards for driveway protection.
Trucks: a truck — two or more axles and over 10,000 lb, built mainly to carry property — may not park on a street or highway for more than three hours (§§ 136-1, 136-6); no vehicle parks on a street between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. (§ 136-3); and trucks are loaded so nothing blows or drops onto a street (§ 80-7). An amendment to the parking article took effect on 17 April 2026, so check the current text with the Village Hall, 201 N Main St, 269-763-9571.
State and local licences: EGLE says Michigan's solid waste rules don't require a licence, permit or registration from EGLE to haul solid waste, but some areas require a local licence or have their own operating rules — which is why the local rules on this page matter.
State highways: Michigan requires an MDOT permit for any use of state highway right-of-way other than normal travel, and cities and villages can require their own permits on their streets (MCL 247.322). We keep containers off state trunkline right-of-way — I-94, I-194, M-66, M-96, M-37, M-89, M-227 and BL I-94 among them — and place them on private property beside those roads.
Covered loads: Michigan law bars driving a vehicle on a highway unless it's built or loaded so its contents can't drop, sift, leak, blow off or otherwise escape, and a load that isn't completely enclosed must be covered or fastened down (MCL 257.720). Keep debris below the top rim — an overfilled container may not be legal or safe to haul.
Remodel or tear-down: EGLE's Air Quality Division runs the federal asbestos NESHAP program in Michigan. Its fact sheet says residential dwellings of four units or less under private control or ownership aren't subject to the NESHAP, but regulated demolition — even of a facility with no asbestos — needs notice at least ten working days before work starts, filed through EGLE's MiEnviro portal. Asbestos never goes in our containers — tell us if an inspection finds any.

How it works
Booking a dumpster in Bellevue
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
Step 1: Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask the address and the town — the rules follow the town the property is in — what you are clearing, whether a cleanout, a renovation, a roof, a yard or a job site, what is going in, roughly how much there is, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us.
Step 2: We size it and quote it flat
We recommend the most cost-effective size, so you do not pay for space you will not use or call for another pickup, and you get a clear, flat-rate price that can cover delivery, pickup, disposal and the standard rental period of 3 to 7 days. If it is concrete, shingles or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size. If your town restricts who may haul or wants a permit, we check its rules before booking.
Step 3: Delivered where you want it
The driver sets the container on the driveway, lot or job site where you asked, on flat, solid ground rather than the lawn, with protective boards on request. Often same-day or next-day, when availability allows. You do not need to be home if the spot is marked and clear.
Step 4: Load it at your pace
Keep everything below the top rim and keep the problem items out — paint, solvents and oils, fuel, liquids and hazardous chemicals, tires, batteries, gas cylinders and propane tanks, medical waste, asbestos, and fridges or A/C units that still hold refrigerant. Need more time or a swap mid-job? One call.
Step 5: We pick it up and handle the disposal
Call or message us when it is full or the job is done and we arrange prompt pickup. We work with local disposal and recycling facilities whenever possible, and materials such as metal, concrete and certain yard waste may be separated for recycling.

Dumpster rental in Bellevue — common questions
Not covered here? Call (269) 292-6313 and ask.
Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Bellevue?
We found no dumpster or right-of-way permit in Bellevue's code. Its rule on refuse containers in view of the road — kept covered, not overflowing and at least five feet back from the road or right-of-way except when being emptied (§ 109-9) — is why we place on the driveway, set back from the road.
Can your truck wait on a Bellevue street?
Not for long. Trucks with two or more axles over 10,000 lb may not park on a village street for more than three hours (§ 136-6). Ours drop and go.
How much does a dumpster cost in Bellevue?
Every job gets a flat-rate quote on the phone, depending on the size, the debris, the location and the rental length. Delivery, pickup and disposal can all be in the quote, with no hidden fees. Call (269) 292-6313 for a quote.
